- Does this court employ use of reason and evidence in its judicial process?
- Is this court familiar with the many of the basics of reasoning such as the invalidity of arguments based on the following:
- “Well, it’s always been that way.” - an appeal to antiquity, or,
- “Everybody knows that.” - an appeal to popularity, or,
- “That’s a stupid question.” - ad hominem; an appeal to diversion from the question
- "It's just the right thing to do." - appeal to emotion
