Background
This page is meant to contain general information on being a member of mankind. The goal is to understand yourself and your own Personal Constitution.
We see not reality as it is, but as we are. Everything that you see is, in a way, a reflection of some part of yourself. The Observer is the Observed.
This article is under development, but at least has a basic framework drawn from the works of A. Cronshaw, G.I. Gurdjieff, the New and Old Testaments, the Zohar, the Skeptic's guide to the Bible, numerous and various spiritual texts, accounts from near death experiencers, and observing life itself.
Nature vs. Nurture
- The Events which shaped us. For example, consider the life of Batman, and how he was impacted by his parents being killed by a criminal.
Principles to Live By
- Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
- Summarized by Jesus when saying these are the two laws: Love God with all your heart and mind, and Love your neighbor as yourself. Do good to those who hurt you. Pray for your enemies.
- Consider: Most people are also, their own worst enemy when it comes to spiritual pursuits. I have no data to support this rather hasty generalization, other than my own experiences :)

So when you are angry with someone else for their ignorance, in reality, that is also yet a part of your own reflection. Ignorant people could be compared to a child, and in like manner, each of us has a multitude of perspectives ... and ... children within us. Does this mean one should suppress one's anger? Hardly. Fully feel the anger - embrace it with every fiber - and channel it into something productive and useful. Do not use it to harm your fellow human beings. Use it to improve yourself.

Books
- "Transactional Analysis delineates three observable ego-states (Parent, Adult, and Child) as the basis for the content and quality of interpersonal communication. "Happy childhood" notwithstanding, says Harris, most of us are living out the Not ok feelings of a defenseless child, dependent on ok others (parents) for stroking and caring. At some stage early in our lives we adopt a "position" about ourselves and others that determines how we feel about everything we do. And for a huge portion of the population, that position is "I'm Not OK - You're OK." This negative "life position," shared by successful and unsuccessful people alike, contaminates our rational Adult capabilities, leaving us vulnerable to inappropriate emotional reactions of our Child and uncritically learned behavior programmed into our Parent. By exploring the structure of our personalities and understanding old decisions, Harris believes we can find the freedom to change our lives." See: [2]
